Responsibilities:
Environmental health Specialists
improve water and sanitation facilities and are involved in improving the
quality of community environments. They often:
- Collect
and analyze samples.
- Screen
samples for possible health hazards.
- Manage
sanitation, disposal, and water systems.
- Oversee
disposal of infectious wastes.
- Identify
health hazards and ensure compliance with regulations.
Average Yearly
Salary: $25,000-$50,000
Education:
Students should take college preparatory courses in
mathematics and science, during high school. A health specialist needs a
Bachelor’s Degree in environmental health or in environmental engineering. Many
of these jobs require a Master’s Degree in these fields.

I would not like to be an Environmental Health Specialist
because it is not something I would have with doing. Yes it helps people but I would
not like my job and what I am doing with it.
