Students should take the
most challenging high school courses that focus on science and mathematics. A
master's degree is required to be a Genetic Counselor. Most graduate programs
require a strong undergraduate background in biology, chemistry, and behavioral
science.
Would
you like to be a genetic counselor? Why? Why not?
I would not
mind to be a Genetic counselor because I get to help out families who have discovered
that there child has a disorder. Even because I get to guide them through things
that can help them not make it worse then what it seems.
