Duties
and Responsibilities:

Healthcare
administrators manage hospitals and other healthcare facilities. They
are responsible for long-range planning, financial administration, personnel
administration, materials management, purchasing, public affairs and patient
administration. The smaller hospitals may have only one administrator because
they are smaller and doesn’t need that much, while larger hospitals may have
many healthcare administrators. Some administrators specialize in specific
fields like patient administration. Health care administrators also work in
HMOs, health agencies, clinics, or for private practices.

Educational
Requirements:

Students need
to take challenging high school courses in business, science, math, and
English. Healthcare administrators have master's degrees in healthcare
administration or in business administration.

Im not sure if I would like to be a health care administrator
because they have to do business and I am not a business person.
