Military Medical Careers
Duties and Responsibilities:
Each branch of the military has different needs and entrance requirements for the medical professionals. Each branch shares the same physical health standards. Any minor physical weakness could disqualify you for acceptance into the military. The health care specialist is primarily responsible for providing emergency medical treatment, limited primary cadre, and health protection. Their duties include:
·         Prepare blood samples for laboratory analysis
·         Assist with outpatient and inpatient care / treatment
Salary: not known (varies on the job)
Education:
A health care specialist requires 10 weeks of basic combat training and 16 weeks of advanced individual training. Some skills you will learn are:
·         Patient care techniques
·         Emergency medical techniques
·         Plaster-casting techniques
·         Methods of sterilizing surgical equipment

I think I would like to be one because I would love to help out in the military and serve the injured.
