X-Ray Technician
Duties
and Responsibilities:
The x-ray technicians
use x-ray machine, ultrasound machines, magnetic resonance scanners, and etc.
other advanced machines to help treat illnesses and injuries under the
permission of the physician. They are responsible for getting patients ready
for radiological tests and treatments that will be performed on the patient.
They place the equipment at a correct angle and distance from the patients to
make images for the physician. They can also assist the physicians in
performing procedures to help the patients. They must also make sure that the
equipment is properly maintained. They work in hospitals, clinics, medical
laboratories, nursing homes, and in private industries.
Salary:
$24,000-$36,000
Education:
Students should
take math, science and English in high school. In order for students to become
an X-Ray Technician they must complete a two year training program in a
hospital or school. A high school diploma or a GED is required for these
programs.

you would .like to be one? Why? Why not?
I think I would
like to be one because I would help the physician by preparing the patient for
their treatments and I get to treat their illnesses.
