Home Health Aide

       Duties and Responsibilities:
Home health aides work for companies that have an in-home assistance to ill, injured, elderly, or disabled patients.  The duties are to take the blood pressure, take temperatures, and the pulse of patients.  They help the patients get in and out of their bed, bath them, dress them, serve meals, and do housekeeping chores like making the beds and cleaning the rooms.
      Salary:  $8,000 - $18,000
      Educational:
Most employees say that the nursing assistants and aides need to have a have a high school diploma or GED certificate.  Some community colleges offer training programs.
Reflection: Do you think you would like to be a home health aide? Why? Why not?
I don’t think I would like to be a home health aide because I would not enjoy working with elderlies because I can hurt them while doing my duties.
