Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN)

Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN)
Duties and Responsibilities:
Licensed practical nurses work with the direction of registered nurses or physicians. They care for the injured handicapped or the sick patients. They take temperatures, blood pressures, and the pulses. They even give the patients injections, help them change, and give the patients baths. They work in hospitals, nursing homes, and extended care facilities. Some nurses work in in private homes for patients.
Salary: $16,000-$23,000
Education:
It is encouraged that the nurses either have a GED or a high school diploma. Unlike registered nurses LPNs don’t have the extensive profession education. Training programs are offered at hospitals, vocational schools, junior colleges, and private schools.
Reflection: Do you think you would like to be one? Why? Why not?

I would like to be one because it seems like something I would like to do every day and I get to help patients.
