Only physicians can study to be an Ophthalmologist. Once you complete medical school and an internship, you must complete an Ophthalmologist approved program for three to five years. Once all of this is done you must pass an examination to become certified.

I would like to be an Ophthalmologist because they treat the vision problems and treat eye disorders/diseases.
