“To know what is right and to not do it is the worst cowardice.”
Confucius
Confucius is telling us that when we have the option of doing something right we should do it and not ignore it like as if it’s not there. When he says “to not do it is the worst cowardice” he means that just leaving it there makes you look like your scared to do something when you know you want to but can’t because of all the temptations around you.
College athletes’ honesty caught on camera
Four college players had the honesty of paying a cashier stand thinking it was open when really the store was closed. When it became closing time an employee says he/she locked the door when they left but due to a door malfunction the door wasn’t. The four men thought the store was open because of the lights still on and the door unlocked, as they waited to pay there items no service came. So the men decided to just pay the items and leave the money in the cashier stand. The store they had a break in but when they saw he surveillance they saw what the men did instead of stealing. The manager went out looking for the men to thank them and to give each of them a $50 dollar gift card.

summer

MY SUMMER
My summer was both exciting and boring. The whole June and July was the best of all, except for August. June and July were exciting because I when to summer camp but when it ended in August there really wasn’t that much fun to do. In summer camp there was a dance class there and my best friend Ashley and I were both put as captains. In the summer camp we learned multiple dances and we even came up with our own dances. The cool part was that we had some great stunts in our routines the like cheerleaders but we weren’t really like them. Though we did have boys come to our practices to come out in our dances. The best dance out of all of them that I loved was our last one. In our summer cap we even had water balloon fights and had like pajama day, crazy hair day, career day, and twin day was the bestJ.
When summer camp was over I tried to spend time with my family and friends by putting them first instead of unwanted plans. Like I went to the beach multiple times with my friends. We went out to eat burgers, eat ice cream and just hangout everyday like we always do together. Though the best thing threw out my whole summer was that my grandmother form México came to the U.S. to come and live here with us. I had an amazing summer having to see her again. I hadn’t seen her in 6 years. And she started to dry when we saw each other again. We went to the beach the mall the movies the market, etc.
this was my SUMMER

“Always do Right.”
Mark Twain
I think that Mark Twain is trying to tell us to always do our best. Like for example is you’re under a lot of pressure, do what you think is right don’t follow the crowd make your own crowd. When you’re being pressured by your friends for drugs do what’s right and don’t smoke with them, don’t drink with them cause you only doing what’s wrong. When he means do the right he wants you to choose what’s not wrong for you or anyone else. Don’t let your friends or anyone tell you otherwise.

“Success is simple.
Do what’s right, the right way,
at the right time.”
Arnold H. Glasgow
I think this means that whatever you’re going to do make sure it’s the right thing to do. But not the wrong way or time but when you have the right decision in front of you to choose it. I also think that when it says “Success is simple” it means that with choosing everything at the right time and way success won’t be as hard because you would already the right decisions to make. Instead of doing bad things like going to parties and not doing your responsibilities you’re not doing what’s right.

Summer Vacation

Summer Vacation
My summer vacation was very exciting because I had a lot of fun with my family and friends. During my vacation I went to summer camp and practiced dancing and cheerleading. In summer camp my friend and I had been selected captains which was super fun. In the camp we learned multiple dances and cheers but one thing that standed out the most was our stunts. Once camp was over I started to hang out with my friends. We went to the movies, out to eat, and to the beach a couple of times. During vacation I even went to Mexico to go and bring my grandmother to America for her first time. When she came she met her daughter and son who she hasn’t seen in like 20 years. While she was here my uncle from Mexico came to visit. Out of all her kids, the only two she has seen is my dad and his older brother the rest haven’t been seen in 20 years up until 2 months ago when they saw each other. We had thrown her a welcome to America party which was fun because I got to see relatives I hadn’t seen in years. This is all I did this summer that was fun.
