Duties and Responsibilities:
Both western and eastern are very similar because they both Alternative Medicine and work to treat and prevent certain ailments and illnesses through methods and techniques not directly or necessarily approved by the medical field. Although, a Western Medicine Doctor has different practices and techniques compared to those of eastern medicine doctors.
Salary: $191,520
Education:
An entry at a medical university school, followed by a period of supervised practice or internship. It can be followed by a postgraduate vocational training.

I think I would like to be one because I would enjoy my job every day and helping patients out.

Duties and Responsibilities:
The oriental medicine doctor gives treatments to identify a pattern of energetic imbalance within a patient and redress the disharmony through a variety of therapies that include acupuncture needling, cupping, acupressure, and exercises. It is free of side effects that accompany many modern medical procedures it is appropriate for reducing healthcare costs.  The doctors look at the patients from a wholistic perspective, as well as the patient's physical, mental, and emotional health.  They are able to spend time developing a collaborative relationship with their patients, as well as assisting them in maintaining their health and promoting a consciousness of wellness. 
Salary: $30,000-$150,000
Education: 5-8 years in school

I think I would not like to be one because I would not enjoy doing the job.

Sports Medicine

Sports Medicine
Duties and Responsibilities:
The physician examines and treats sport or athletic related injuries. They prescribe patient medications. They monitor the patients during sport events or physical activity and perform tests. They consult with the patients to determine the appropriate course of treatment. You will get the opportunity to work with medical professionals like surgeons, physical therapists, physiologists, nutritionists, and coaches. You are also asked to come up with ways to prevent the injury and promote health for other individuals in sports and exercise.
Salary: median pay is $202,790
Education:
Obtain a Bachelor’s degree with a strong pre-medical curriculum. You must attend an accredited medical school to earn a doctor of medicine degree. Requires a degree in medicine from an accredited school and is licensed to practice. It may require at least 2-4 years of sports medicine experience.

I think I would like to become one because I would enjoy helping people feel better and allow them to continue playing a sport that they love and still have fun even when they are injured.
