Harmful Effects and Consequences of Drug Abuse

Harmful Effects and Consequences of Drug Abuse

This video is shocking to see that drugs are pleasurable for a simple moment but can mess up your whole lifetime. This video makes me surprised to see people look/go crazy about what the harmful effects drugs do to you. Families went through so much because you’re doing drugs and one day there going to find you dead and not sleeping. You are no longer you, you are gone. Drugs make you think your problems are gone and make you happy when here actually not. You repeat the cycle: steal from people, have the drug, and then left alone to rot by yourself because no one seemed to care for you anymore. Drugs kill you and who you are, people stop trusting you and families no longer love you. You destroy friend’s lives because you make them do drugs as well. Your mistake can cause your life and your friends if you tell them to join you. You control your life but that one mistake can lead into one big tragedy that you’re never going to get back. You’re in control of your life, and the mistakes that you made. You are responsible for the loss of your life and your friends for making them do drugs as well. No one can change it but you, you made the choices in the beginning but you can always stop. You can see the bright side of life if you just live DRUG-FREE. Drugs lie to you, they bring harm and pain into your life.

Student Success Statement
“Have the courage to say no.
Have the courage to face the truth.
Do the right thing because it is right.”
W. Clement Stone

This statement means that even when you scared say no, when you scared to tell the truth, face it because you’re only afraid of the consequences. Do it because it is right. It might be scary to face the truth and to say no but if you choose the right thing then you don’t ever have to worry about this, do the right thing because it is important. Face the consequences for your actions because it’s the right thing.

“You can’t hire someone else to do your push-ups for you.”
Jim Rohn

Jim is telling us in order for you to do something you must do it yourself, you can’t let others do it for you. You’re not succeeding if you let others do it for your. You aren’t getting better instead you’re getting worse because you’re not practicing. For example, if you tell your friend to go practice a sport you are playing, it’s not you practicing it’s, you being lazy because you don’t want to try.

“Man’s rise or fall, success or failure, happiness or unhappiness depends on his attitude…. A man’s attitude will create the situation he imagines.”
James Allen

This statement by James Allen means that whatever man decides or imagines of himself will be on him. Man can be successful if he imagines he will be. Imagining isn't just getting it also means that you have to have a good attitude towards others to achieve that goal. Everything that happens to him depends on his attitude, this makes up his situation that he is in. For example, your attitude creates your imagination so if you act good, good will come upon you. If you act badly then you will receive bad situations.

Choose The Right!!!

“You will never be a winner if you lose your temper.”
Anon

This statement is telling us that a winner never loses his or her temper because they know how to control themselves and not cheat/ be a sore loser. A loser will be a sore loser, lose his or her temper, and won’t be fair to others because he or she can’t accept the loss. If you want to become a winner you can’t always be getting mad for every little thing you need to control yourself and not get upset. A winner doesn’t lose his or her temper so try to control yourself and stay calm that way you can win, it may not big like first place but you at least know how to stay calm in a situation like this. For example, if you lost the Olympics you not going to scream and cry because you lost you need to control yourself and wait till the next Olympics game to win the next one. If at first you don’t succeed don’t pack your bags because they’re still maybe more to see. Nobody likes a sore loser if you lose your temper.
