Integrity

Integrity

This video of integrity was about Abraham Lincoln and how he made a promise to his mother that he would never drink whiskey or smoke tobacco as long as he lives. Lincoln had been taking a ride with his colonel and had been traveling miles and miles. The colonel was offering him these items and every time he offered one Mr. Lincoln replied with a no thank you because he kept his word with his mother. The colonel respected his decision and told him that “that was his best promise” he could ever make/ keep. Integrity is about keeping you word, and saying what you’ll say you will do. I use integrity by making my appointments, talking to someone when I say I will talk to them, and any other situations I say I will do. As well as keeping my word in leadership when I say I will do something to help us out.
