This statement says that in order to be well, you have to listen to the most important sound. Obedience is mostly important in education, it is the sound of it. You have to be obedient in school because teachers are teaching you and you have to listen to what they’re telling you. You need to listen to the teachers so you can do your work/homework; the primary thing is obedience because you need it to know what to do, and to get an education.

If we listen and become respectful we can be free and know that we can choose the right even without our parents telling us listen when we already know. The more we listen and learn the more time will get to go out and use those listens outside.

This statement means that if you do things early it makes a great man out of you. Going to bed early and rising early makes you a better person because you’re newer and fresher than the day before. What Benjamin is telling us is that the earlier you are to things the better prepared for them you will be.

This statement means that even when you scared say no, when you scared to tell the truth, face it because you’re only afraid of the consequences. Do it because it is right. It might be scary to face the truth and to say no but if you choose the right thing then you don’t ever have to worry about this, do the right thing because it is important. Face the consequences for your actions because it’s the right thing.

This statement means that even though you’re sacred you still do the right thing because you know it’s right. Being scared and still doing the right thing takes courage because not a lot of people will the same thing you did. For example what is popular is not always right, but what is right is not always popular. Take the road less traveled by and don’t do what others do unless it is right. Courage is being scared and when you do the right thing it makes a whole other story to the situation. Just knowing that you did the right thing makes the situation a whole lot better.

This statement means to act well in life. Your life is an act that you need to act well of. He says that if you act well and don’t fake your part in the act it is true honor. This quote doesn’t apply to theater it applies to life. If you say the right things and play the role you think it’s supposed to be played then. A person is their own person; if you act like the part then all of your honor will be in it.

This statement is telling us that it is better to fail with honor and honesty, than to win by not showing honor to others by teaching them that cheating is okay as long as you win. This statement teaches us that honor is meant to be taught well and not to cheat wit. It is better to loss with pride than to lose with no honesty. For example, if you lose a game and you are okay with the loss you honorable, but if you cheated to only win then you are no other than a loser and you are not honorable.

The statement means that if you give a bad attitude that situation will turn out bad and you coloring will to. Any situation that you have your mind will color it good or bad, but if you color it bad then chances are your attitude will fall along with it.

This statement means that whoever you hang with or talk to is the person you’ll become. If you hang out with a bad crowd then you’ll end in jail because you got caught smoking g marijuana, robbing things, stealing, etc. While the right crowd is making it in life, being successful and choosing the right. You have to choose who you hang with, if you want to be good and have a good life stay with the people who are smart and go the extra mile. Don’t stay with the students that cuss out and get into fights because most likely you’ll end up just like them.

Jim is telling us in order for you to do something you must do it yourself, you can’t let others do it for you. You’re not succeeding if you let others do it for your. You aren’t getting better instead you’re getting worse because you’re not practicing. For example, if you tell your friend to go practice a sport you are playing, it’s not you practicing it’s, you being lazy because you don’t want to try.
