Duties and Responsibilities:
The nursing home administrators plan and direct operations of nursing homes and long term care facilities. They supervise personnel, financial, medical, and nursing administration. Some of the nurses work in the nursing homes though some work for large corporations that control many facilities. Some get involved for teaching and for the research.
Salary: $40,000- $55,000
Education:
If students want to become a nursing home administrator then they should take challenging high school courses in business, science, math, and English.
Most states require that the administrators have at least a bachelor’s degree in nursing home administration.  They must also complete an additional internship program and pass a comprehensive examination.
Reflection: Do you think you would like to be one? Why? Why not?

I would like to be one because I might enjoy doing this. I would like to go to people’s homes and help them in stuff that they can’t do on their own.
