What the
author is trying to tell us is that when you outdo yourself you become your
inspiration. If you inspire yourself to do more than what you should then that
means that you can go for higher things in life. If we outdo ourselves we can achieve
greater things, like for example if you go to a competition you must not try to
be better than the others you must first be better than yourself to inspire
others and yourself. If you try harder and harder every day you will soon
realize that you can outdo yourself because all this time you’ve tried harder
to achieve something.
