Radiologic Technologist
Duties and Responsibilities:
Radiologic technologist use x-ray machines, ultrasounds, magnetic resonance scanners, positron emission scanners, and other technologically advanced machines to help treat illnesses and injuries that is directed by the physician. They are responsible for getting patients ready for radiologic tests and treatment that will be performed. They place equipment from the correct angle and distance from the patients to make appropriate images for the physician. They also assist physicians in performing procedures. They must also make sure that the equipment is properly maintained. They work in hospitals, clinics, medical laboratories, nursing homes, and in private industries.
Salary: $24,000-$36,000
Education:
Students should take science, math, and English courses available in high school. To become a radiologic technologist they must complete a two year training program in a hospital or school. A high school diploma or a GED is required for entry in these programs.

I think I would like to be one because I wouldn’t have to work that much into surgery with a patient.
